Hello, my name is Ahren Merz.  I am a music composer and sound designer based

in Zürich, Switzerland. 

 

Next to creating sound for games and film, I also write solo compositions

which have seen support by Spotify editorial playlists (Fresh Finds, Fresh Finds Experimental),

Youtube channels (Ambient, The Spirit of Orchestral Music) and music blogs.

 

Some of my music/audio work includes 'Yagami's Contract', a highly acclaimed escape room in Switzerland, as well as '7 Sins', a horror adventure game, which was displayed 

at the Zurich Game Show for two consecutive years and was greatly received by industry

professionals and festival visitors. Furthermore I was responsible for the sound design,

dialogue recording, mixing and mastering of feature length films 'Aufzeichnungen aus dem Abseits' and 'Habemus Feminas' which were shown

in cinemas across Europe.
